Susie Edmonds, Founder and Head of Program, has over 20 years experience in the teaching profession. In her role across a number of school and post-school settings, Susie has extensive experience working with teachers, parents, adolescents and young adults. This enables her to be skilled at helping people reach their potential through developing their personal understanding, confidence and resilience.

Susie is a qualified teacher at Masters level and a proficient teacher with the NSW Educational standards. Susie therefore understands the systems that schools work under. She is also a certified Life Coach and Mentor and this enables her to share tools and strategies to help people reach their potential and be free from habits and thought patterns that are holding them back.

Susie has extensive experience working with school staff and executive teams on ​wellbeing, personal development and leadership.

Additionally, her experience as a teacher, facilitator and educational coordinator equips her with invaluable resources and knowledge for ​​guiding young teachers at the beginning of their careers.

Susie understands first hand, the significant challenges that face teachers in developing a ​robust professional life whilst trying to keep a healthy work life balance. She has guided practicum teachers and mentored young teachers completing their new scheme requirements.

Susie values building mutual respect and understanding in leading teachers with compassion and empathy, in helping them access and develop their skills. ​

Susie has vast experience working with ​secondary and university students, as well as supporting her own children through school and university. Additionally, Susie has worked as an ​educational coordinator at a leading children’s hospital for six years. As a result, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience in helping students navigate their educational, emotional and social needs.

Susie’s work with parents and schools in both hospital and traditional school settings, ensures she has a ​holistic understanding of the people that she works with. She has a wealth of insight, strategies and knowledge to share with parents as they support their children to become happy, successful and balanced young adults.
